BARBERTON, Ohio — JohnDow Industries Inc. (JDI) recently added a "Learning Hub" on its website, a feature that provides "dedicated, educational content focused on automotive shop equipment, service parts, TPMS, and vehicle exhaust extraction."
The Learning Hub includes frequently asked questions about JDI products and their uses, educational blog articles, product videos and demonstrations of equipment, and eBooks on shop equipment, TPMS, and fuel handling.
The hub has a simple interface and users can use search functions or browse categories to find the information they need, said JDI, a Barberton-based supplier and distributor of aftermarket equipment and products.
"Based on the established rapport and trust we have built with our customers over the last 35 years, it's common for us to provide guidance on choosing the right automotive repair equipment, even outside of our own product lines," JDI President Robert Christy said.
"With the Learning Hub, we were able to take our in-house expertise and provide insightful content for customers when they're researching shop equipment to make a buying decision."
The Learning Hub complements JDI's Digital Product Showrooms also on the website. The company revamped its website, which also includes product search functions on every page and multiple ways to find products, in November 2021.
"This new section of the JohnDow website further supports one of our Core Principles, 'Our customers are our everything,'" JDI Director of Marketing Heather King said. "Sharing this knowledge is more than simply providing information, it positions JohnDow as part of the buying journey where we can build trust before, during and after a purchase."
