GEORGETOWN, Calif. — The organizers of the annual Jeep Jamboree USA series of events have struck a multi-year sponsorship deal with Continental Tire the Americas' General Tire brand.
Jeep Jamboree is a program of family-oriented off-road adventure weekends for Jeep owners and enthusiasts across the country that cater to varying levels of driving expertise with experienced guides on hand to help navigate and educate participants.
As the official tire partner of the Jeep Jamboree, the General Tire brand will be represented throughout Jeep Jamboree weekends with signage, promotional materials and giveaways. General also is planning to organize additional engaging activities for Jeep Jamboree participants at select events.
General Tire replaces BF Goodrich as the official tire of the Jeep Jamboree.
Pearse Umlauf, president and CEO of Jeep Jamboree USA, said: "Jeep Jamboree USA and General Tire have the same common goals of providing off-road enthusiasts with the best possible experience on the trail. We look forward to working with General Tire to continually enhance and expand the Jeep Jamboree USA program."
The agreement covers 34 events in 2020, starting with Snowbird event in Bartow, Fla., on Jan. 2. Each event can attract hundreds of participants.
The General Tire brand will use its new status with Jeep Jamboree USA to promote the Grabber line of off-road tires, according to Travis Roffler, director of marketing for the brand.
