BOUCHERVILLE, Quebec — Point S Canada (Unimax Ltd.) and Distribution Stox Inc. have hired a Montreal-area business executive to be their new leader.
Jean Novak, a Quebec business executive with over 30 years' business experience, will become president and CEO of both entities, replacing Bruno Leclair, who plans to step down from those positions May 31.
Point S Canada is one of Canada's largest independent dealers, while Distribution Stox distributes consumer and commercial tires.
Novak's experience include time spent with firms in the telecommunications, technology, retail networks and consumer goods sectors. He moves to Point S from Videotron Communications.
According to Point S Canada, he has grown businesses throughout his career, developing new markets, introducing new product lines and "redefining standards to continually provide an unmatched customer experience. "
He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from HEC Montréal and a certificate in corporate governance from Université Laval.

Point S Canada oversees more than 875 stores operating under various banners including Point S, Point S City, V1, Otobox, Prestige Tire, and Megapneu, with locations throughout Canada.
Distribution Stox, founded in 2016, serves customers in eastern Canada, operating 21 distribution centers with more than 190 delivery vehicles in Quebec, Ontario and the four Atlantic provinces.
