SINGAPORE — The International Rubber Study Group (IRSG) is postponing its World Rubber Summit, scheduled for May 4-6 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, until September.
The IRSG made the decision to postpone the meeting after consulting with government officials in Cote d'Ivoire and with the meeting's steering committee, according to IRSG Secretary General Salvatore Pinizzotto.
The IRSG is considering possible meeting dates during September and will update IRSG members and potential attendees as soon as possible, Mr. Pinizzotto said.
Online registration for the World Rubber Summit remains open.
"We propose for registrants to tick 'Bank Transfer' as an option that will allow the registrant to choose later to pay via credit card or transfer the order nearer the date of (the) summit," Mr. Pinizzotto said.
