INDIANAPOLIS — Indy Tire Centers has initiated its November "Wipe Out Hunger" food drive campaign and partnership, in partnership with local country radio station, 95.5 WFMS.
During the month of November, Indy Tire Centers — dba Best-One of Indy and Best-One of Columbus — is collecting non-perishable food items for Wheeler Mission at each of its 10 central Indiana locations for Wheeler Misson, a non-denominational, Christian, social services organization, that provides critically needed goods and services to the homeless, poor, and needy of central Indiana.
Each location will provide a free pair of standard wiper blades, with installation, to each customer who makes a food donation, Indy Tire said.
Trula Womack, Best-One of Indy's director of marketing and brand excellence, said the dealership has been selling tires and servicing vehicles for more than 32 years.
"But more importantly, for over 32 years we have been serving people," she said.
"As a local company, our communities are our family, and we hope everyone helps us this month with food donations for Wheeler Mission."
The Wipe Out Hunger campaign runs through Nov. 30.
