ST. LOUIS — Hunter Engineering Co. has partnered with Dealer Tire L.L.C. to provide users of its Quick Check Drive and Quick Tread Edge unmanned inspection systems with automatic replacement tire recommendations.
The automated tire recommendation option is available via the latest version of Hunter's latest WinAlign software (version 16.2), which measures rim diameters, Hunter said.
All Quick Check Drive and Quick Tread Edge inspections systems are fully capable of running this newest software version, Hunter said.
These systems check customers' vehicles as they drive past the inspection system units, Hunter said. In seconds, the adviser is able to present tire recommendations to the customer, making the process seamless and convenient.
