ST. LOUIS — Hunter Engineering Co. has re-engineered its heavy-duty tire changer with more speed and torque than previous models.
The new TCX635HD model will be demonstrated during the upcoming Hunter Innovation Expo, a virtual event to be held Nov. 3-5, the St. Louis-based company said.
"The TCX635HD has 18% more speed and 30% more torque than its previous model, bringing faster and more powerful over-the-road tire changing on standard, wide-base and super-single assemblies," Hunter said.
The tire changer has a lower carriage that allows for "more ergonomic rollup while adding even more safety to customer tire changing operations," the company said. The new model also has a 2-inch increase in overall tire diameter capability.
