TEXARKANA, Texas — Heintschel Truck Tire Center has converted its retreading business to precure products and services provided by Pre-Q Galgo Corp.
Prior to this, Heintschel's retreading business was affiliated with Goodyear, including Goodyear's Unicircle precured process, which it adopted in 2009.
Heintschel Tire President Garry Heintschel cited Pre-Q Galgo's commitment to providing independent retreaders with high-quality products and outstanding customer service as a key reason for his company's decision to convert.
"We had so many restrictions and limitations that we could not continue to grow and expand our business," he said. "Profitability and the ability to be independent and control our future without restrictions were the key drivers that fueled our decision to convert."
Established by Arlen Heintschel in 1973, Heintschel Tire is the only family-owned commercial tire service company in the Texarkana area.
Citing Heintschel Tire's "excellent reputation" for servicing its customers with the highest standard of quality and service, Pre-Q Galgo Vice President Eduardo Nava said Heintschel will be a "great addition" to the company's family of independent retreaders that value high-performance products, value-added partnerships and business independence,
Besides retreading, Heintschel offers tires for a range of commercial vehicles, including farm and OTR, as well as commercial roadside assistance and repair services.
Dallas-based Pre-Q Galgo is a subsidiary of Industrias de hule Galgo S.A. de C.V., the Mexico City-based parent company.
Pre-Q Galgo gained another new client recently when Steven Shannon Tire & Auto Centers of Bloomsburg, Pa., selected the company as its supplier partner for a retread plant it opened in late 2021.
