Hankook, Mickey Thompson offer summer rebates

AKRON — It's summer rebate season!

Hankook Tire America Corp. and Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels are offering consumer rebates ranging up to $100 in value for qualifying purchases.

Hankook Tire's promotion, the "Great Hit Rebate," offers consumers savings of up to $100 on the purchase of a set of four qualifying passenger, SUV or light truck tires, from July 1 through Aug. 7.

The specific rebates are:

• $100 on the Dynapro XT on-/off-road rugged terrain for light trucks and SUVs;
• $80 on the Ventus S1 AS year-round sports performance tire and on Ventus V12 evo2 ultra-high performance summer tire;
• $70 on the Dynapro HP2 all-season highway performance for SUV/LT; and
• $60 on the Kinergy PT premium passenger and crossover touring all-season tire and on the Kinergy 4S2 performance passenger and CUV all-weather tire.

Summer vacations are back in vogue, with 60% of Americans expecting to take a road trip this summer up from 43% in June 2020, according to the Hankook Tire Gauge Index.

Mickey Thompson Tires is offering rebates of $100 on the purchase of four eligible Baja Boss A/T or Baja Boss M/T tires between July 1 and Aug. 15.

The reward comes in the form of a prepaid Visa card of virtual card.

"The summer adventure season is in full swing, and we're happy to help truck and SUV owners conquer any trail and earn a reward at the same time," Mickey Thompson President Dominick Wycoff said. "The Baja Boss is our premium extreme tire line, offering capability and versatility in all conditions."

Consumers have until Sept. 1 to make their rewards submission.
