NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Hankook Tire & Technology Co. Ltd. has developed its first app for truck and bus radial (TBR) tire dealer and fleet customers. The app includes features such as a dealer locator and emergency roadside assistance service for its National Accounts Program (NAP) customers.
The app provides easy access to the Hankook Tire Emergency Link Program (HELP), a 24/7 emergency roadside assistance service available to commercial truck tire customers in need of a mid-journey repair, the company said. With a two hour target service time and an extended network across the U.S., the company said, HELP delivers emergency services such as tire replacements, mounting and dismounting, flat tire repair and more to get fleets back on the road as quickly as possible.
"We recognize the importance of making sure that our customers receive service as quickly as possible when an unexpected emergency occurs," Rob Williams, Hankook's vice president of TBR sales, said. "Through our new app, we've made it easier than ever for customers to contact our HELP service to receive roadside assistance in a more timely and seamless manner."
The app launched Oct. 6 and is available for Apple and Android devices via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
