NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Hankook Tire America Corp. is celebrating Major League Baseball's playoffs with its Grand Slam Rebate, which offers consumers up to $100 in savings on popular passenger, SUV and light truck tires.
Nearly one-third (31%) of Americans plan to take a trip by car this year, and one in five already have taken advantage of consumer rebates to save money, according to the Hankook Tire Gauge Index,
Hankook, the "official" tire of MLB, said those hitting the roads for daily commutes and daily school runs can save on new tires, including the rugged on- and off-road Dynapro XT or the new Ventus S1 AS, which offers year-round sports performance in all weather conditions.
Consumers purchasing at least four tires by Nov. 6 from eligible lines — Dynapro XT, Dynapro AT2 Xtreme, Dynapro AT2, the Dynapro HP2, Ventus S1 AS and Kinergy 4S2 — will qualify for the rebate. Rebates can be submitted online at hankookrebates.com.
Qualifying tires and rebates are:
- $100 back on the Dynapro XT (RC10);
- $90 back on the Dynapro AT2 Xtreme;
- $80 back on the Dynapro AT2 (RF11), the Dynapro HP2 (RA33) and Ventus S1 AS (H125); and
- $70 back on the Kinergy 4S2 (H750).
