AKRON — Goodyear has promoted Christian Gadzinski to senior director of investor relations.
Gadzinski, formerly a director and general manager within Goodyear's Commercial Truck Tire & Service Centers business, replaces Nick Mitchell in the role. Mitchell, who held the position for the past four years, will work in supporting Goodyear's strategy and business development efforts, according to Darren Wells, Goodyear's executive vice president and CFO.
Gadzinski reports to Christina Zamarro, Goodyear's vice president, finance and treasurer.
Wells said Gadzinksi "brings a unique perspective to investor relations from his leadership experience at Goodyear in both finance and our North America business. His Goodyear finance experience includes a prior role in investor relations, which along with his strong communication skills, will make him a valuable resource for the investment community."
Gadzinski has held numerous roles in finance, including in business development and investor relations since joining the tire maker in 2007.
