COLOMBO, Sri Lanka — Global Rubber Industries (Pvt.) Ltd has added 23 SKUs to its agriculture and construction tire portfolios.
The expanded products include tires designed for agriculture machinery such as tractors, implements and sprayers, as well as tires designed for construction equipment, including telehanders, graders and light trucks.
The expansion includes four new sizes in the Green XLR Earth line; 12 sizes in the Green XLR line; three sizes in the Green EX Rib-3 line; and one each in the Green EX, Gripex GT and Gripes TL, and Road Ex.
According to GRI, which manufacturers specialty tires in plants in Colombo, the new SKUs were developed "meticulously," and "developed and tested to ensure optimal performance, durability, and reliability in demanding operating conditions."
The company said the move emphasizes GRI's "commitment to meeting the evolving needs of its customers worldwide, as well as its dedication to innovation and excellence in tire manufacturing. The newly introduced SKUs encompass better load and speed indexes in the existing sizes to carry more weight with safety. These SKUs offer better options to the customers to choose the best fit for their machines. "
GRI CEO Mahesha Ranasoma said the expansion represents the tire maker providing "comprehensive solutions to our customers. With these new SKUs, we aim to further enhance our offerings and address the diverse needs of our global clientele."
Last month, GRI introduced its most sustainable line of tires, a line of agricultural tires, the Green XLR Earth series, which is made of 87.3% of sustainable material, and a line of material handling tires, the Ultimate Green XT, which is made with 93.5% sustainable material.
