OKLAHOMA CITY — Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores has promoted Gary Price to executive vice president of its Truck Care operations, succeeding the retiring Tom Edwards.
Mr. Price, most recently vice president of operations, North America, will now manage what Love's calls the largest preventive maintenance and total truck care network in the country with 400-plus locations and 1,500 maintenance bays.
His responsibilities will include Love's Tire Retread and Distribution Center network, which has six locations across the country and plans to expand in 2021.
Prior to joining Love's in 2016, Mr. Price was president of Corner Bakery for three years and held executive positions with Pilot Flying J for 10-plus years.
Love's also promoted Roger Ahuja to executive vice president of operations, succeeding the retiring Kevin Asbury.
"Roger and Gary have been with the company for quite some time and not only have a deep understanding of Love's, but also strong leadership experience," Love's Travel Stops President Shane Wharton said.
"They have a passion for continuing to grow Love's to better serve our customers and team members, and we have confidence that they will."
Founded in 1964, Love's Travel Stops operates 540-plus locations in 41 states, including over 400 that have Speedco or Love's Truck Care services on site.
