PHOENIX — Automotive service franchisor FullSpeed Automotive plans to "grow aggressively" in the Phoenix region over the next two years, bringing more than a dozen quick-lube stores to the area by 2024, including two recently signed franchise agreements.
New franchisees John and Lori Brannigan are opening a Grease Monkey quick-lube store in Gilbert, Ariz. The store is set to open by the end of 2022.
John Cloward, who has two Grease Monkey stores in Peoria, Ariz., will open another shop in Gilbert by spring of 2023 and plans to open even more Grease Monkey locations following that opening.
"This year has been a very successful for both Grease Monkey and SpeeDee, and as we look toward the future, Arizona is a huge target market for our expansion efforts," Full Speed CEO Rob Lynch said.
"FullSpeed has an aggressive growth strategy, and as we continue to expand, our team has made it a focus to build strong brand awareness in these markets to help drive car counts to locations and increase franchisee profitability. The Phoenix area and the state of Arizona only currently have eight locations, and has great potential for growth."
In August, FullSpeed opened its first corporate-owned Grease Monkey quick-lube location in Arizona, in Anthem. The company has seven other existing franchised locations in Peoria, Phoenix, Prescott and Tucson.
The company plans to continue growing both its Grease Monkey and SpeeDee concepts, with plans to bring 10 locations to the state over the next two years with qualified franchise partners and strategic acquisitions.
