EDMONTON — All Fountain Tire Ltd. locations across Canada have implemented digital vehicle inspection and reporting this month, according to the dealership.
Customers at all 160 Fountain Tire locations will be provided with detailed photos and descriptions of the vehicle, taken during the inspection process. According to Fountain Tire, the reports play an important role in customer communication, education and transparency in the vehicle repair process.
Technicians now can photograph and record video of vehicle inspections. The color-coded report tells consumers the exact condition of each inspected component.
Dave Deley, senior vice president, Stores at Fountain Tire, said the digital vehicle report allows Fountain Tire associates "to show, not just tell, customers exactly what's happening with their tires, brakes and mechanical systems.
"This is a tool to help educate our customers and make sure they understand the health of their vehicle so they can be safe on the road," Mr. Deley said.
