Foreign Tire Sales Inc. plans to introduce electric-vehicle-specific Otani-brand tires in 50 sizes for the U.S market.
UNION, N.J. — Foreign Tire Sales Inc. (FTS), the U.S. importer of record for Sampran, Thailand-based Otani Tire Co. Ltd., has expanded its offering of Otani-brand tires to include 50 electric vehicle (EV) sizes for the U.S market.
"As the EV industry continues to grow, we are committed to providing innovative and high-quality tire solutions that support the performance and safety of these advanced vehicles," CEO Minoo Mehta said.
"Our new range of EV tires features the latest technology to enhance efficiency, handling and driving comfort. With this expanded selection, we aim to offer our customers even greater flexibility and choice, ensuring the perfect fit for a wide variety of electric vehicles."
The KN1000 EV tire size range covers 16- to 22-inch rim diameters, ranging from 185/55R16 to 285/35R22.
Pricing information was not disclosed.
FTS has been Otani's importer of record for the U.S. for nearly a decade.
