ASTORIA, N.Y. — Max Finkelstein Inc. is adding the Cooper and Mastercraft brands to its consumer tire portfolio.
Finkelstein will distribute the Cooper brand throughout its entire distribution footprint starting Sept. 1 and the Mastercraft brand in a "select" geographic territory starting in the fourth quarter, according to its partnership agreement with Cooper Tire & Rubber Co.
Finkelstein did not elaborate on what distribution footprint limitations exist for Mastercraft. The company distributes to customers throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic from 15 "strategically located" distribution centers.
These brands will complement Finkelstein's current portfolio, which includes: Americus, Bridgestone, Carlisle, Dunlop, Falken, Firestone, Fuzion, Goodride, Goodyear, GT Radial, Kelly, Kenda, Kumho, Mickey Thompson, Ohtsu, Pirelli and Presa.
The company handles an array of products from consumer to commercial, specialty, lawn and garden tires in every product tier.
Astoria-based Max Finkelstein marked its 100th year in business in 2019.
