STAUNTON, Va. — Federated Auto Parts is improving its Federated Car Care program with a number of "enhancements" designed to help program members attract more customers.
The enhancements include:
- Labor Assurance Program – which covers labor reimbursement within the 25-mile radius of the Federated Nationwide Warranty Program; and
- Car Care Insurance Program – which offers a variety of insurance options for program members through Lockton Affinity L.L.C.
In addition the Federated Group Training Academy is expanding its already "comprehensive" online training platform with new course offerings for automotive service professionals.
Under the labor assurance program, Federated Car Care Centers can file a claim online or over the phone, and the claim will be administered by Automotive Business Solutions, the provider of the Federated national warranty, roadside assistance and road-hazard programs.
The car care insurance program offers members customized coverage through Lockton Affinity, a business with over 50 years of experience providing insurance solutions for automotive businesses.
"Federated has always provided its Car Care Center customers with the extensive training, marketing support and brand name, quality parts that distinguish them in today's competitive marketplace," John Marcum, director of marketing for Federated Auto Parts, said,
"By expanding the Federated Car Care program to include these exciting new offerings, the Federated Car Care program is providing shops with more valuable tools to help grow their businesses."
These new programs complement other existing benefits, Federated said, such as the Federated Nationwide Warranty, which offers parts and labor warranty on specific service and repair work performed by participating repair facilities for 36 months or 36,000 miles.
There are roughly 4,000 Federated Car Care Centers nationwide.
