Toyota has selected 18- and 20-inch versions of the Falken Wildpeak A/T3W all-terrain tire as OE fitments on higher-performance TRD versions of its 2023 Tundra light truck.

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. — Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. Inc. has selected 18- and 20-inch versions of the Falken Wildpeak A/T3W all-terrain tire as OE fitments on higher-performance TRD versions of its 2023 Tundra light truck, according to Falken-brand purveyor Sumitomo Rubber North America Inc. (SRNA)

Toyota has spec'd the Wildpeak A/T3W in size 285/65R18 on black forged aluminum BBS wheels for the Tundra Pro model and size 265/60R20 on black alloy wheels for the TRD model.

In addition, Falken parent Sumitomo Rubber Industries Ltd. is supplying Toyota with a purpose-built spare tire, sized 245/75R18, for both models.

Toyota is offering Wildpeak A/T3Ws OE on two TRD versions of the 2022 Tundra, the Pro (size 285/65R18) and TRD Off-Road (size 265/60R20), as well as a purpose-built

All three tires are produced at Sumitomo Rubber's Miyazaki, Japan, factory.

Toyota has selected 18- and 20-inch versions of the Falken Wildpeak A/T3W all-terrain tire as OE fitments on higher-performance TRD versions of its 2023 Tundra light truck.

The redesigned 2022 Tundra is the fifth iteration of Toyota's full-size pickup truck. All versions feature a twin-turbo gasoline 3.5-liter V-6, dubbed "i-Force," offering up to 437hp and up to 17,700 pounds of towing capacity.

TRD versions are built for more serious off-roading, with off-roading suspension, skid pans and other accessories.

Calling the Wildpeak A/T3W and A/T3WA the "perfect complements" to the new Tundra, Cliff Stewart, OE sales director for Falken Tires, said the tires are engineered for adventure, "at any time, in any weather" and designed to run aggressively off-road and without compromise on the pavement.

Falken Tires is the exclusive supplier for all three tire sizes and the only Tundra supplier providing all-terrain, off-road-capable tires for the new Tundra.
