Drivers of 2003-07 LX 470 trucks with adjustable suspensions may complain that the ride height on the SUV is uneven side-to-side or front-to-rear.
One likely cause for the trouble, says Lexus, is moisture or corrosion infiltrating the front and/or rear height sensors. Installing new-design sensors that do a better job sealing out the elements is the simple fix. If the rear height sensor connector or harness shows signs of corrosion, installing a sub-wiring harness into the existing harness is also in order.
Here are the new parts you'll need to get the suspension working properly again: Front height sensor (right) 89405-60012, Front height sensor (left) 89406-60012, Rear height sensor 89407-60010, Sub-wiring harness 82989-60030.
