MONTREAL — Martins Industries Inc. has hired former American Tire Distributors Inc. executive David Martin to be its U.S. market sales and marketing adviser.
Mr. Martin brings over 20 years of automotive aftermarket sales management and marketing experience to his new job. While working at ATD, Mr. Martin also served seven years on the board of directors of the Tire Industry Association and was TIA's president in 2017-18.
"David's an outstanding addition to our team. Looking forward to his expertise and insights," Martins Industries President Martin Depelteau said.
In his new position, Mr. Martin will help Martins Industries focus on program development to support sales growth. Mr. Martin worked at ATD for nearly 13 years before opting to take this position. He also worked for TBC Corp. and Hennessy Industries before joining ATD in 2008.
Montreal-based Martins Industries designs and manufactures tire equipment to store, handle, inflate and display tires and wheels.
