RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. — Sumitomo Rubber North America said it has increased prices of its Dunlop-branded motorcycle tires in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico.
The increase, which was effective Oct. 15, is up to 15%.
SRNA said the price increase is a result of the "dramatic increases in costs."
SRNA raised prices Oct. 8 in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico on Ohtsu-brand and Sumitomo Rubber-produced private label products by up to 30%. It superseded a 10% increase for Ohtsu-branded products that took effect Oct. 1, SRNA said, and was the third increase in 2021 for Ohtsu-brand tires in North America.
