CINCINNATI — Doran Manufacturing, a maker of tire monitoring systems, and technology firm Samsara Inc. have teamed up, integrating Doran's tire pressure and temperature data into Samsara's Connected Operations Cloud to help fleets reduce tire expenses, increase equipment uptime and improve vehicle safety.
Customers who use both technologies can display tire pressure and temperature information on their Samsara dashboard, including real-time notifications for cautionary and critical low-pressure alerts, rapid deflation events and high-temperature conditions.
The data also will give driver managers and fleet maintenance teams real-time visibility on problem tires through email notifications of active TPMS-status changes, TPMS alerts by vehicle and visibility, and a display of current tire pressure and temperature readings through the Samsara dashboard.
