SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Reinalt Thomas Corp. has struck partnership deals with AAA chapters in Missouri, New Mexico and Virginia to offer flat repairs and discounts on tire replacements through Discount Tire outlets in those states to the chapters' members.
The program — available through three Discount Tire stores in the Kansas City area, 20 stores in New Mexico and a dozen in Virginia — is intended to provide the full range of Discount Tire services to AAA members with tire-related emergencies, Discount Tire said.
At the stranded member's request, AAA's roadside assistance drivers will tow the member to their nearest Discount Tire store for service. AAA members in the selected regions will receive $10 off per tire when they buy any "better" or "best" tire through Discount Tire, up to $40 in value.
By expanding its AAA partnerships, Discount Tire "can provide their members with more confidence in buying the right tire, tailored to their specific needs and driving safety," David Ginsberg, chief corporate and strategy officer at Discount Tire, said.
"Roadside assistance is an important aspect of providing peace of mind for our customers, and AAA shares our commitment to improving driving safety and taking care of customers."
Discount Tire has had a similar program in place in Southern California with the AAA chapter there since 2019.
