SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Reinalt Thomas Corp., in partnership with Michelin North America Inc., is giving away 60 sets of Michelin tires through early 2021 to mark the 60th anniversary of Discount Tire/America's Tire.
The contest began July 1 and runs through Dec. 31, with drawings being held six times to determine nine monthly winners for the first five months and 15 in the final month. Winners have up to two years to redeem their prizes.
The winners for the July and August drawings already have been notified.
Bruce Halle, the late founder of Discount Tire, opened his first store in 1960, in Ann Arbor, Mich. He died in January 2018 at age 87.
The Scottsdale-based dealership now operates 1,070 stores nationwide, including 25 that have opened since late 2019.
The sweepstakes is open to legal U.S. residents, including the District of Columbia ("DC"), who are at least 18 years of age (19 if a resident of Alabama or Nebraska) at the time of entry. No purchase is necessary. One entry per person per day.
The winners can choose a set of four Michelin tires, up to a retail value of $1,000 and intended for one vehicle only. The prize includes mounting and balancing.
The dealership also is awarding 60 Discount Tire-branded backpacks as additional prizes.
