FORT MILL, S.C. — Continental Tire the Americas L.L.C. plans to raise prices on select Continental- and General-brand passenger and light truck tires in the U.S. market, effective July 1.
The company did not disclose the amount of the price increase but said it will vary across specific products by brand. Details of the increase will be made available to direct customers by June 1, Conti said.
The cmpany did not comment on its reasons for raising prices.
The tire maker last raised prices in the U.S. on March 1, on select Continental- and General-brand passenger and light truck tires by an undisclosed amount.
