PLAISTOW, N.H. — Carparts Distribution Center Inc., a New England-based chain of parts stores, is celebrating 45 years in business.
While COVID-19 put a damper on any official anniversary events, the company has honored the achievement virtually and internally. Many of the company's employees have been working in the industry for more than 40 years.
"Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, we have still achieved a milestone anniversary," Carparts President Stan Lewis said.
"I am proud of and grateful for every member of the Carparts family who has enabled us to thrive for the past 45 years, and I look forward to many more years of Carparts' growth and top-notch service."
The company has 21 Carparts locations — including nine recently acquired stores in central Maine — and works with dozens of traditional jobbers. Carparts also services more than 80 Auto Value Certified Service Centers in Maine, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Carparts is an Auto Value shareholder owner of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance Inc.
"Congratulations to Carparts on 45 years of excellence," Alliance President and CEO John Washbish said.
"All of the staff members at Carparts hold themselves to a high standard. We are proud to be associated with such a high-caliber company."
