MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Black's Tire & Auto Service (BTS) will host its annual Boys and Girls Homes of North Carolina charity golf tournament on Sept. 19 at Myrtle Beach National golf course.
The 27th annual event will tee off at 9 a.m. Last year, the event raised over $207,000 for charity.
The event includes prizes for longest drive and closest to the pin on each coach. Mulligan and red tee packs will be sold for $20, while a 50/50 raffle also will be held.
First and second place prizes will be awarded for the West and South Creek course.
The $95 entry fee covers green fees, cart, and breakfast and lunch.The format is four-man teams, captain's choice.
The charity supports abused, neglected and abandoned children to help them become productive members of the community. The founder of Black's Tire, W. Crowell Black, was among the charity's original board of directors members.
