FLORENCE, S.C. — Jiffy Lube International Inc. has recognized Jiffy Lube franchisee Bronco Lube L.L.C. — a 19-year-old business with 10 locations in South Carolina — as its franchisee of the year.
This is the second such honor for Bronco Lube and its owner Chad Weisbeck, who also owns a Mighty Auto Parts franchise in South Carolina with a pair of warehouses, in Spartanburg and Charleston, serving customers throughout South Carolina and parts of western North Carolina. Bronco Lube previously won the award in 2014.
Jiffy Lube — a Shell Oil Co. business unit — said the award is presented to the franchise that best represents the brand's core values and attributes, including a commitment to operational excellence, innovation, an outstanding customer experience and employees' professional development.
"Chad Weisbeck and the entire Bronco Lube team truly embrace innovation, demonstrate exceptional customer service and exude an immense passion and enthusiasm for the Jiffy Lube brand," Jiffy Lube President Edward Hymes said.
"As Jiffy Lube evolved its business model to offer additional services including brakes, tires and engine diagnostics, Chad seized the opportunity to better serve customers, providing a one-stop shop solution for automotive maintenance."
Jiffy Lube presented the award during a virtual awards ceremony held recently in lieu of its annual convention.
Despite the headwinds of 2020, Bronco Lube experienced consistent growth by exceeding customer needs, Jiffy Lube said. At the onset of the pandemic, Mr. Weisbeck took immediate action, adjusting operations in anticipation of customer concerns around safety.
He also took care of his employees, Jiffy Lube added, noting that Bronco Lube remained fully staffed throughout the pandemic and rewarded team members for their positive attitudes and work ethic.
"I am honored to be the recipient of the highly coveted 'Franchisee of the Year' award," Mr. Weisbeck said.
"This past year has been challenging, but thanks to hardworking, dedicated team members and great customers, we have been able to continue to grow and maintain our number one goal of customer satisfaction. A franchisee since 2002, Bronco Lube operates 10 Jiffy Lube service centers in Florence and Greenville, S.C. Each location offers a wide range of preventive automotive services including brakes, tires and batteries in addition to the Jiffy Lube Signature Service Oil Change.
Mr. Weisbeck added the Mighty Auto Parts franchise in December 2020. He is one of 10 Jiffy Lube franchisees who also are Mighty franchisees.
