NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Bridgestone Americas Inc. will increase prices up to 10% on select products within its Firestone agricultural tire, track, and bladder portfolios, in both the U.S. and Canada, effective Sept. 1.
The tire maker said the increase is in response to market dynamics and conditions, including increasing costs of raw materials and logistics.
Firestone Agriculture price adjustments will be implemented at the specific pattern and article level for each business. Members of the Firestone ag sales teams are contacting customers to provide more detailed information about the changes, the company said.
Bridgestone last raised prices on Bridgestone- and Firestone-brand commercial, OTR and agriculture tires on May 1 by up to 15% in the U.S and Canada. That increase also applied to agricultural tubes, bladders and tracks.
