COLUMBIA, S.C. — Blacks Tire Service (BTS) will host a three-day, in-person trade show and seminar at its distribution center in Columbia, Nov. 12-14.
The event is called the BTS SEMA — for Sales partnerships; Equipment and supplies; Manufacturers support; and Action plan for a future together.
Rick Benton II, vice president of BTS Tire, a Whiteville, N.C-based, family-owned wholesaler and retailer in its 91st year of business, emphasized that all safety measures will be in place, including social distancing and limited class sizes.
Tentative training sessions will explore topics including tire pressure monitoring system; tire repair; human resources; and commercial supplies. The show also will have product demonstrations as well as a trade show.
Tire Business Editor Don Detore will moderate a session featuring a panel of dealers discussing the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event will start on Nov. 12 at 1 p.m., and it will conclude Nov. 14 around noon.
