SEREGNO, Italy — Balkrishna Industries Ltd. (BKT) has made it official: Doug Kershaw has been named president of the company's U.S. subsidiary, BKT USA.
The company made the announcement as part of several personnel changes. The others include Chris Rhoades, named vice president, Off the Road business, BKT USA; Alan Eskow, vice president of BKT Canada, named vice president, Agri-Industrial Business of BKT USA; and Shrikant Gadge, receiving additional responsibilities as manager, sales and marketing for BKT Tires, Canada.
The company said Minoo Mehta will remain part of the BKT USA team as a senior advisor and member of the Managing Committee.
The appointments are effective Aug. 1. The company said the moves were made to leverage "the breadth and depth of the company's existing talent to promote continued growth."
Kershaw joined BKT USA in 2018, and the company said he has played a key role in enhancing BKT's product distribution in the U.S., helping the company add a warehouse in Kansas City, upgrading the USA headquarters and expanding BKT's presence in the agriculture, construction and mining sectors.
The company said his goals will be to strengthen and increase brand awareness and positioning in the U.S., with the help of Mehta.
