TERREBONNE, Quebec — B&J Rocket Sales A.G. has agreed to represent tire repair materials and retread systems producer Vulcan Vulcap Industries Inc. and carry Vulcan-Vulcap's products throughout its global distribution platform.
Baar, Switzerland-based B&J Rocket and Terrebonne-based Vulcan-Vulcap disclosed the new distribution agreement July 16, saying the deal reflects the firm's "common mission of providing the tire repair and retread industry with the best equipment and materials and an outstanding service."
Financial details were not disclosed.
Vulcan-Vulcap offers section repair mold systems and vulcanization equipment designed to make the tire repair process more efficient, profitable and safe for all the stakeholders.
"Vulcan-Vulcap Industries was on the look-out for a long-established and reputable master distributor that with our full support can make our products available on a worldwide level; which is why we are very excited about this venture with B&J," Vulcan-Vulcap President Gilles Wauthy said.
"B&J products and services are well known and liked among retreaders and within the tire repair industry," Jorde Heredia, vice president, sales and marketing for Vulcan-Vulcap added.

Established in 1942 by Emil Bech Jensen and partner Roy Barnes, B&J is considered a market leader in manufacturing high quality buffing blades and carbides for the tire retreading and repair industry. With manufacturing facilities in the U.S. and Denmark and distributors and partners across the globe, B&J is able to serve customers worldwide.

(ITRS) of Montreal since 2018.
