DURAND, Wis. — Bauer Built, Inc. made several promotions and appointed a new officer at its annual shareholders meeting March 23.
Those promoted are:
• Todd Weber to chief sales officer.
Todd Weber joined Bauer Built as a part-time employee in high school before going full-time in 1986 after his college graduation. He has worked in various capacities, including service, retread manufacturing, warehouse, sales, assistant store manager, store manager, vice president of sales and executive vice president of tire sales and operations.
His primary responsibilities are supervising the sales operations for the company's tire centers, including the wholesale distribution centers and more than 35 tire outlets in four regions.
• Mike Weber to chief operating officer.
Mike Weber joined Bauer in 1994 and worked in various roles before becoming a store manager in 2004. In 2012, he became director of manufacturing and in 2022 vice president of operations and manufacturing.
In his new role, he will focus on processes and technologies that allow locations to operate at the highest levels of efficiencies while delivering a high level of customer service.
• Scott Kusilek to vice president of manufacturing.
Kusilek joined the company as a production associate in 2010. He was shortly promoted to retread plant manager and in 2013 to retread operations coordinator. In 2014, he became director of manufacturing.
In his new role, Kusilek will be responsibly for the performance of the dealership's six retread plants and two wheel reconditioning plants.
• Chelsea Schneider joined Bauer Built in November as vice president of human resources.
Schneider came to Bauer Built from CURT Manufacturing L.L.C., a manufacturer and distributor of towing products and truck accessories, where she was the director of human resources.
Bauer Built, founded in 1944, has 35 tire and service centers, six Michelin Retread Technologies retread plants and two wheel-refinishing operations, spread across nine Midwest states.
