STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. — Bartec USA has released the fourth update of its tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) this year.
According to Bartec CEO Scot Holloway, update 62.3 "adds significant coverage for the Rite-Sensor, adds model year 2021 coverage and increases our already industry-leading OBDII capabilities."
Bartec said tool software development "requires collating huge amounts of data from industry partners, developing the necessary code based on that data, then thoroughly testing and vetting the solution before releasing to customers."
This latest release provides additional OBDII coverage for Ford, General Motors and Mercedes vehicles as well as additional model year 2021 coverage.
Bartec said it also released its newest version of the TPMS desktop, a free tool management utility that Bartec said helps with tool updating, vehicle look-up and coverage as well as inspection report retrieval and printing.
The software will update automatically for existing TPMS desktop users. Those that don't should visit www.bartecusa.com and click on the link to download.
A technical service bulletin detailing contents of software update 62.3 is available as well or from the TPMS desktop. A subscription must be current in order to download and install this update.
Bartec released its third update in July. More information is available by calling Bartec USA at (855) 877-9732.
