LAS VEGAS — BANF has developed a tire-monitoring system it claims is capable of gathering and disseminating thousands of data points per second in a real time.
The aim of the system is optimizing safety and "improving fuel-efficiency on a massive scale" for commercial vehicle fleets, according to Ron Lee, BANF vice president and head of business.
BANF, headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, with offices in San Francisco and China, held demonstrations of its two-part system at its CES 2025 booth at the Venetian Resort Las Vegas in January.
The BANF System gathers data on tire pressure and temperature, tire wear, wheel alignment, lug nuts status, tire load and road conditions in real-time, Lee said. It uses artificial intelligence (AI) to predict critical events as well as creating a live view of fleet operations.
