INDIAN WELLS, Calif. — Steve Gilliland, a motivational speaker and author, will address the 2020 Off-the-Road Tire Conference, sponsored by the Tire Industry Association (TIA) and scheduled for the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa in Indian Wells Feb. 19-22.
Sponsored by BKT U.S.A. Inc., Mr. Gilliland's speech is titled "Making a Difference," TIA said. He will discuss how the conscious choices people make every day affect others, and how to use those choices to positively influence people in every imaginable way, regardless of position or status, TIA said.
The 2020 gathering is the 65th annual OTR Tire Conference, TIA said. It will kick off with a report of planned events surrounding the association's 100th anniversary, followed by a review of OTR dismount and mount training presented by Roy Galyer, global sales and training manager for Klinge Tyre Management Systems, and Matt White, TIA director of tire service.
The Feb. 20 program will begin with U.S. and Canadian economic forecasts presented by Kevin Rohlwing, TIA senior vice president of training, and Glenn Maidment, president of the Tire and Rubber Association of Canada.
Bruce Besancon, vice president, off-the-road sales for Yokohama Tire Corp., will be the keynote speaker, presenting, "Predicting the Future of OTR Tires by Looking at the Past and Present."
