FARMINGDALE, N.Y. — Autel Intelligent Technology Corp. has released its next generation TPMS diagnostic tool, the Autel ITS600, a device that Autel said features service functions and essential diagnostic enhancements.
According to Autel, the ITS600 can produce detailed scan reports of a vehicle's tire-pressure monitoring system (TPMS), including tread depth measurement with the addition of optional accessories. Autel said its Autel 1-Sensor programming, a multifunctional tire and service tool sold separately or as a package, is designed to make customer service easier and safer while increasing shop sales and profits.
Autel's pocked-sized MaxiITS600 is a touchscreen Android tablet that shops may use for TPMS service, including all-known sensor activation, system diagnostics, 1-Sensor programming and sensor ID and position Relearn procedures.
The ITS600 has three modes of VIN decoding including VINscan that identifies the vehicle make, model and year with a scan of the vehicle identification number on the dash. The optical scanner also can record Tire DOT registration numbers. Autel's TPMS diagnose system helps technicians immediately identify TPMS system faults on TPMS-equipped U.S., Asian, and European vehicles.
The 7-inch long tablet weights under a pound and has a 5.5-inch color touchscreen display for use in harsh environments, with an embedded antenna for sensor activation and non-contact 1-Sensor programming. It includes a redesigned, wireless Bluetooth VCI with a flashlight in order for technicians to identify a OBDII port.
Users have access to four common vehicle maintenance services and free TPMS and service software updates for the life of the tool. The Pro software upgrade performs all systems diagnosis, enables viewing of live data and access to vehicle maintenance services for U.S., Asian and European vehicles, 1996 and newer.
