LAS VEGAS — Atturo Tire Corp. is offering "Trail Hazard" protection for its ATV/UTV tires covering tire damage incurred both on and off road.
Atturo claims this coverage, which will launch at the AIM Expo Powersports Trade Show in Las Vegas Feb. 15-17, is a first for the powersports industry.
In announcing the coverage, Atturo President Michael Mathis noted, "the Trail Blade SXS tire starts with the strength of steel-belted radial construction, built on the most modern equipment. Our tire construction and tread design will help reduce punctures and damage.
"The Trail Hazard program takes that strength and confidence even further and covers the cost when that unfortunate damage to a tire from off-road use occurs. … We want our customers to enjoy their time outdoors without worrying about the cost of an unexpected tire repair or replacement."
Atturo branched into the powersports market in 2022 with the introduction of a pair of tires, the Trail Blade X/T SxS and Trail Blade BOSS SxS, for this growing off-roading segment.
The new tires' tread patterns are modeled after Atturo's Trail Blade X/T and Trail Blade Boss light truck tires, including Atturo's distinct knife blade sidewall designs.
The Trail Hazard program offers up to $40 for flat-tire repairs per occurrence, and free replacement if the tire is not repairable, for up to 24 months after purchase date. Complete details are at atturo.com/trailhazard.
