    WAUKEGAN, Ill. — Atturo Tire Corp. has added four sizes to its AZ850 ultra-high-performance tire line in 20-, 21- and 22-inch rim diameters to fit a growing subset of new-generation SUVs, crossovers and sport trucks.

    These new sizes — 255/40R21, 265/45R20, 285/40R22 and 285/30R22 — address some of the newer OE performance applications with SUVs, crossovers and sport trucks, Atturo Marketing Manager Joe Gomez said, as well as providing "plus fitments for improved performance."

    The AZ850 — part of Atturo's lineup since 2014 — is now available in 37 sizes, ranging from 245/50ZR18 to 335/25R22. The range includes six run-flat sizes.

    The AZ850 features an asymmetric tread pattern with different inside and outside contours for "optimum balance" by distributing the pressure of the contact surface evenly across the tread face, Atturo said.

    The design results in enhanced comfort and handling, while the tire's unique rubber compound reduces rolling resistance, allowing the AZ850 to run cooler at high speeds, Atturo claims. High-tensile steel belts and jointless nylon bands increase stability and provide more secure braking and increased durability.

    The new sizes fit an array of recent-generation performance cars and SUVs, Atturo said:

    • 255/40R21 — BMW X3 and X4; Chrysler 300; Lexus LS; Mazda CX-8; Mercedes GLC; and Volvo XC60;
    • 265/45R20 — Acura MDX; BMW X3 and X4; Ford Explorer; Honda Pilot; Mercedes GLC, GLE; Porsche Macan; Subaru Ascent; and Tesla Model X;
    • 285/40R22 — Audi Q8 and SQ8; Dodge Durango; Land Rover Discovery and Range Rover; and Mercedes GL, GLE and GLS; and
    • 285/30R22 — Audi RS6, RS7 and S8 (up to 2018MY); and Tesla Model X

    Engineered to take advantage of the increased power and handling ability of these modern vehicles, Atturo said, the AZ850 delivers high performance without sacrificing style, and offers an affordable, high-quality alternate to OE tires found on many performance SUVs.

    The AZ850 is produced in Taiwan by Federal Corp.
