Atturo to bring 'sticky' tire to Easter Jeep Safari

MOAB, Utah — Private brand tire marketer Atturo Tire Corp. will show off its sticky off-road compound while helping to support charity at the annual Easter Jeep Safari in Moab.

The Red Rock 4-Wheelers (RR4W) will host the 56th annual Jeep Safari April 9-17. The club calls the event one of the largest gathering of 4-wheel drive vehicles in the world. During the nine-day event, visitors take to the many off-road trails around the area.

In addition to the benefit run for the Susan G. Komen Foundation for The Cure, Atturo will sponsor three off-road trails — "Hell's Revenge" on April 9, "Top of the World" on April 10, and the "Moab Rim" on April 11.

Off-road tire brand Mickey Thompson is also a trail sponsor for the "Gold Bar Rim" on April 12 and "Tip-toe Through Hell" on April 13.

Atturo will sponsor the "Fins & Things Benefit Run" on April 12 to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation. The RR4W matches donations collected during the ride — raising a $21,976 last year.

Atturo team members will be attending all four of the trail rides in the Atturo 2017 Jeep Wrangler JKU equipped with a set of new Trail Blade Boss: Green Label tires, size 37x12.50R17.

The "Green Label" indicates an all-new soft tread compound known as a "sticky" compound.

"This special compound is designed to quickly reach peak operating temperature allowing excellent grip on rocky surfaces while still providing good cut resistance," Atturo said.

Established in 2009, Atturo Tire is aimed at the light truck (4x4), Jeep, SUV, CUV and muscle-car segments.

This will be Atturo's third year attending the Jeep Safari.

"Going out on the trails, meeting with consumers and evaluating your product in the real world is something that you just can't replicate in a traditional trade show environment," Joe Gomez, Atturo marketing manager, said.
