LEESBURG, Va. — The ASE Education Foundation is offering a free version of its "Introduction to Automobile Service E-Learning" program to school instructors and their students affiliated with ASE-accredited programs.
The "Introduction to Automobile Service E-Learning" program consists of four training modules and a separate quiz. When students pass the quiz, they can print their own certificates of completion.
"We recently had nearly 1,000 instructors participate in our virtual training conference and their valuable feedback inspired us to look for ways for ASE to help schools with their online curriculums during this difficult time," Mike Coley, president of the ASE Education Foundation, said.
"By making our 'Introduction to Automobile Service E-Learning' program available at no charge, schools can easily integrate it into their online or hybrid program as an educational supplement this fall."
The foundation works with more than 2,300 automotive technology training programs and over 50,000 students nationally to develop the transportation industry workforce and career development.
