LEESBURG, Va. — The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) has activated its redesigned "myASE" web portal that features a more "intuitive, user-friendly" online experience for service professionals.
The redesigned dashboard on the myASE portal streamlines the registration and certification process and features easy-to-use navigation, quick links and a shopping cart experience that allows users to order ASE tests and products, and place them into a shopping cart for immediate purchase.
"We encourage all service professionals to log on, view the significant enhancements and register for their next certification exam," ASE President and CEO Tim Zilke said.
Each order for ASE tests automatically includes the new, lower registration fee of $34. Test fees remain the same.
ASE first notified the industry in August it was redesigning the portal.
ASE stressed that its test centers around the country are open, and the myASE portal is accepting registrations through Dec. 31 for more than 50 ASE certification tests on offer for automotive, collision, medium/heavy duty, school bus, transit bus and truck equipment repair.
