NEW ORLEANS — Apollo Tires US Inc. has developed an integrated marketing campaign, "Smart Tires for Not Smart Roads," that debuted this week at the 2024 Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) Expo in New Orleans.
The debut of the campaign comes one year after the tire maker launched its long-haul truck tire range at the 2023 TMC Expo, which marked its entry into the largest fleet-market customer segment in the U.S.
The new ad campaign was shot in California City and Lake Tahoe, Calif., and showcases the range of road conditions that long-haul truckers encounter — potholes, cracked roads, snow and rain — "Not Smart Roads."
"With millions of miles of testing on North American roads, these road conditions, however daunting, are no match for Apollo's 'Smart Tires,'" the compand said.
"Every Apollo truck and bus tire is produced at one of Apollo's state-of-the-art, global manufacturing facilities by leading engineers."
Apollo offers a free road-hazard warranty on all commercial vehicle tires, as well as rapid nationwide delivery, domestic inventory and a 72-month workmanship and material warranty.
Apollo Tires US is the Atlanta-based subsidiary of India's Apollo Tyres Ltd. Apollo began rolling out a range of Apollo-branded truck/bus tires in the U.S. and Canada in early 2021 after several years of testing its products throughout the continent.
The TMC is part of the American Trucking Associations.
