DENTON, Texas — Off-road and 4x4 products retailer 4 Wheel Parts has opened a location in Denton, the retailer's 16th store in the state and 103rd nationwide.
The store's grand opening celebration is slated for July 16. As part of the grand opening, the store will be open extended hours, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and special pricing and giveways worth more than $5,000. The company said it will have on display Jeep and other trucks.
The first 100 customers will receive free T-shirts.
The location, the seventh 4WP outlet in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, formerly was a Trux Outfitters outlet.
This latest opening comes a month after Compton, Calif.-based 4 Wheel Parts opened its first retail store in New Jersey, in Cherry Hill.
The Compton, Calif.-based retailer is being acquired by aftermarket wheel producer and distributor Wheel Pros L.L.C. as part of Wheel Pros' bid to buy Transamerican Auto Parts (TAP).
