COMPTON, Calif. — Off-road parts retailer and service provider 4 Wheel Parts has developed lines of 4WP-branded parts and accessories for the 2021 Ford Bronco SUV and Toyota Tacoma pickup.
The retailer, a division of Transamerican Auto Parts, will be selling the parts and accessories through its 95 retail stores throughout the U.S. and Canada.
The portfolios include parts such as front bumpers, front bumper winch platforms and skid plates, rear bumpers, spare tire relocation brackets, third brake light brackets, side steps, fender deletes, et .
For the Bronco — Ford Motor Co.'s latest SUV based on the original SUV from the 1970s — 4WP offers a leveling kit for the Bronco Sport that will allow fitment of a tire up to 245/70R17 in size as part of a program to transform the Bronco Sport into a "formidable exploration vehicle."
"Ford Bronco owners are chomping at the bit to customize their brand new vehicles and build them out for off-roading," Joey DiGiovanni, director of marketing at 4WP, said.
"Thanks to our longstanding relationship with Ford, we're so excited to be able to offer customers access to the newest aftermarket products so they can completely customize their rig to their own specifications. Inside the stores, we have look books, flyers for consumers to take home and do research on their favorite parts plus a full Bronco display of products."
Workers at 4WP's 95 stores are trained to "Speak Bronco," Mr. DiGiovanni said.
Parts for the Tacoma include bumpers, side steps and exterior accessories, allowing customers to create their own unique build to improve off-road performance, set their rig apart from the crowd and provide a solid platform for Overlanding and off-roading opportunities.
"As we make our way through summer, customers are hitting the trails with their vehicles at an increasing rate," Jason Difuccia, vice president of marketing, said.
"This new line of Toyota Tacoma aftermarket products is geared towards off-road enthusiasts that want to take their rig to the next level and use it to its fullest potential both on and off the road."
4WP's parent Transamerican Auto Parts was acquired by Polaris Industries Inc. in 2016.
Among its products are custom wheels and tires, including the firm's own 4WP brands.
