KINGSTON, N.H. — The New England Tire & Service Association will host its NETSA Trade Show & Convention March 31-April 1 at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn.
Registration is now open for NETSA members and non-members. The trade show exhibits and seminars are free for business owners, managers and staff.
The free Saturday morning seminars provide training and learning opportunities. Speakers include:
- Jason Abrahams, founder and CEO of TireTutor, will provide insight on how to compete with large online retailers and mass merchandisers.
- Mike Albrecht, region manager for Hunter Engineering Co., and Kip Nuesch, national sales for Advance Auto Parts/Carquest, will address questions about ADAS, ranging from ROI profitability and liability, shop requirements and training, including hands-on ADAS calibrations.
- Shivahn Fitzell, intelligent tire solutions global marketing leader in the Performance Sensata Automotive Division, will speak during the NETSA annual meeting and luncheon about the future of tire sensing after 15-plus years of tire pressure monitoring (TPMS), what capabilities are coming and how it will affect independent service providers.
The Saturday Night Hall of Fame Dinner and Auction will honor New England businessmen Jim Melvin Jr. of Melvin's Tire Pros and Brian McGeoghegan of Mohawk Rubber Sales.
The annual NETSA Scholarship Auction allows attendees to bid on tools, tires, electronics, sports items and more, all donated by trade show sponsors and other scholarship supporters.
Attendees can access discounted rates for overnight accommodations at Mohegan Sun's hotel by pre-registering on the NETSA registration site.
