MOAB, Utah — Yokohama Tire Corp. has extended a decade-long relationship with Canyonlands Jeep Adventures to keep supplying Canyonlands with all-terrain Geolander tires for its fleet of 22 Jeeps.
Moab-based Canyanlands, which offers off-road enthusiasts opportunities to drive scenic trails around Moab, has had a partnership with Yokohama for 10 years.
"Moab is known as a 4x4 Mecca and has some of the harshest trail conditions in the world," Canyonlands owner Jason Taylor said.
"Geolander tires have given us the confidence to send our Jeeps out into the backcountry knowing that our customers are using the best possible tires on the market."
Alan Holtschneider, Yokohama's director of marketing, said the tire maker is extremely happy working with Canyonlands.
"Whether it's a tire launch, a dealer event or taking enthusiasts down scenic trail rides, Canyonlands and their fleet of 22 Jeeps are exceptional," Mr. Holtschneider said, adding that the area is "a great place for consumers to experience our Geolander tires' off-road performance for themselves."
