RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. — Sumitomo Rubber North America (SRNA) will increase prices in the U.S. and Canada on select Falken passenger, light truck and commercial truck tires, effective Jan. 1.
The company said the increase is in response to the continued rise in operational costs.
Inline adjustments will be implemented on a per-size basis, SRNA said, noting that Falken's Minimum Advertised Pricing program will be updated to reflect changes. Details of the increase will be provided to customers through the sales team.
"Several factors have driven the need for this price increase, including increased costs in both transportation and labor, raw materials, in addition to other market factors," SRNA said.
